The Philippine Business Association of Alberta (PBSA) aims to advocate, unify and promote healthy socio- economic base for Filipino Canadian business owners and entrepreneurs in Alberta.
Connection to the Business Community
If you are new to Alberta or a young entrepreneur, whatever your situation may be, we will help you meet and connect with other business owners in Alberta. At PBSA, we treat each other as family.
Education
We conduct information sessions in tandem with experts on subjects that directly affect our businesses. Furthermore, we have a myriad of business owners who are all willing to share their personal experience in navigating the business realm in Alberta.
Advocacy
We advocate and coordinate with policymakers from all levels of government (Federal, Provincial, Municipal and the Philippine government) to ensure that our questions are answered, and our issues addressed; notably concerns that directly affect Filipino business owners.
Promotion
With over a hundred dedicated members, we support and promote each other’s respective businesses. Furthermore, members are promoted through different platforms associated with PBSA.
Discount
As a way of giving back, our members have voluntarily and generously reduced their rates for fellow PBSA business owners.
Service
When called upon, our members conduct fund raising and perform volunteer work for worthy causes (homelessness, natural calamities, COVID 19 and the like). In our small way, we do our best to address the needs of our community.
